Plan for the Week

Integrated Life Skills   
Topic: Healthy Lifestyles
1.      Know the importance of eating healthy, exercising, sleeping and practicing proper hygiene.

2.      Participate in activities that would promote Healthy Lifestyles.

3.      Use action songs to promote Healthy Lifestyles.

4.      Play/ Pause or Stop a YouTube video
Refer to class WhatsApp groups for videos from teachers, or the school's Facebook page, District Five’s Facebook page. 

Watch videos about nutrition and healthy eating.

Answer questions that follow on healthy eating. (4-6)

Draw pictures representing a balanced diet (4-6)

Draw pictures of healthy foods (K-3)

(Remember, students MUST remain hydrated, so drink lots of water).

1.      Pupils will say whether they were able to accomplish the activity.
2.      Students will write a comment or put an emotion about how they felt about the video.

3.      Drawings and pictures depicting healthy foods

4.      Pictures or drawings depicting balanced diet

5.      Sentence explaining what a balanced diet is.
